“WHAT CAN WE DO MOM” Is not something you need to worry about the kids saying at La Rousselie, As we endeavour to provide everything you need for all year round family entertainment, whether in the large Heated Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi, with kids inflatables, or in the garden, playing the 6 hole mini pitch and putt golf course, full set of clubs provided or playing football, rugby, cricket, croquet, tennis games, & swings or indoors in our fully loaded games room, with x-box & selection of games, ipod hifi, table tennis, table football, darts board, plus a host of other games & activities. Mountain bikes & an open canoe are also available on request. There is also an excellent tennis facility in the village.
The Perigord Noir region of the Dordogne, is famous for its gastronomic traditions & produces some of the finest cuisine in France. Its also a vast rural area of timeless forests & gentle rolling hills, wide slow rivers, prehistoric caves & troglodyte dwellings. Combined with a wealth of world famous historical sites from castles & ancient monuments to medieval market towns & magnificent châteaux, let the adventure begin!
So whether looking for a fun filled holiday, perhaps golfing, canoeing, walking, pony trekking, fishing, or even sailing on the nearby Lac du Causse, with its boat club, marina and sandy beach, or visiting the many famous delightful & historical sites of the Dordogne, you will find that La Rousselie is ideally located & offers something for every one.
In the low season the villa is also available for long weekends & short breaks, especially attractive when the vast surrounding forests are in their spectacular spring or autumnal colours, & at an altitude of 1000ft when it snows, tobogganing on the 2 acre sloping garden is great fun. Alternatively a day out skiing is also available in the Cantal mountains, approximately 2 hours away by car.
Of course on chilly evenings you could just snuggle up infront of the big log burner with a bottle of fine French wine, & naturally all logs are supplied & ready cut.

Situated only a hundred metres or so from the centre of the sleepy village of Ladornac the opportunity to relax in a peaceful, typically Périgordine village is coupled with the convenience of being only a short drive from all the amenities of a number of small, bustling towns.
Approximately ten minutes drive takes one to Terrasson Lavilledieu, a small, bustling town of some 6500 residents. Bridging the Vézère river Terrasson offers charm, with cafes, restaurants and local shops, combined with convenience, there are modern supermarkets and access to the French railways.
Slightly further a field is Brive-la-Gaillarde, a large town of 50,000 residents offering all the convenience of a modern city coupled with the traditions and charm of the Limousin.
Ladornac is situated in the Périgord Noir region of Dordogne, yet within a few kilometres of both the departments of Corrèze and Lot.
