La Rousselie is situated in close proximity, approximately a 25 minute drive, to junction 51 of the A20 motorway, one of the main North – South arteries through France.

There are a number of options available to access La Rousselie, but the most obvious choices are either to drive through France from one of the channel ports, or by air with the option to hire a vehicle upon arrival.

To fully benefit from the opportunities the area affords we would strongly recommend you ensure you have access to a car whilst staying at La Rousselie.

At present the nearest airports are either Limoges or Bergerac, both no more than 1.5 hours drive away or, obviously, any of the other main airports in this area of France. Why not combine your stay at La rousselie with a few days in Bordeaux, Toulouse or even the Mediterranean coast. For example the village of Ladornac is just a 3 hour drive from Montpellier! and even only 5 or 6 hours from Barcelona. And be aware that a new airport is opening in Brive in 2008/9, just 20 minutes away.

The drive down is an easy one along the uncluttered French motorways. From Calais its a 500 mile drive, some 8-9 hours, through the picturesque French countryside with hardly ever a cone or road works in site! The most direct route from Calais or Boulogne takes you around the edge of Paris. Longer sea crossings and a shorter drive are also an available choice.

The train journey from London Waterloo to Paris is 3 hours of total relaxation on Eurostar but then you need to get across Paris for another 4½ hours south to Terrasson.
